If one wants to know about marketing then one will have to understand the history of marketing. Some time back the meaning of marketing was made up of a mixture of the factors. Now the actual meaning of marketing is the satisfaction and delivery of the things for the people to fulfill the requirements. One important thing behind this is that Marketing gives the people more than the people give to it.
Before 1950, the philosophy of marketing was only to make plans and strategy only for selling products. They sold their products with a little regard. In those times, they were selling as much they could. After 1950, the philosophy of marketing has been totally changed. In the starting the companies began to realize that now people are not interested in their old ways to selling the products. They found that the key factor to get the success is the fulfillment of the customer’s need. They began to realize that the real meaning of the successful marketing is to understand the needs of the customer.
